Land Sea & Air Solutions LLC (LSA) provides transportation and civil engineering, surveying, and construction services across the Midwest. Our team delivers smart, dependable solutions for roadways, railroads, river terminals, ports, harbors, and airport projects. Our History
The foundation of LSA began long before the company’s formation. Our founder started in the profession at age 16 as an intern for a civil engineering and land surveying firm in Tucson, Arizona. After earning professional licensure in 1986, a move to Green Bay opened the door to 15 years at Foth, where work included civil grading plans for major airport improvements across the region.
In the early 2000s, a partnership at STS Consultants (now AECOM) led to the development of a dedicated railroad design team. That work grew into Via Rail Engineering, where our founder served as a founding leader and later President, guiding design and surveying teams and establishing a strong reputation in industrial freight rail.
After a brief retirement, the passion for building smart infrastructure resurfaced, leading to the creation of Land Sea & Air Solutions LLC. Today, LSA leverages its long history of transportation engineering and leadership to deliver high-quality solutions across land, sea, and air.
Our Team
Our team brings more than 30 years of combined project management experience spanning both rail and construction projects. This deep background includes overseeing complex infrastructure improvements, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and managing projects from initial planning through final delivery.
In addition to our project management capabilities, we offer over 20 years of expertise in topographic surveying and CADD, providing accurate site data, detailed design support, and reliable technical documentation that enhances decision‑making at every stage of a project.
